Immersive Experience at Osaka!！Attractive Wadaiko (Japanese drum) workshops are now available！

■“WA”DAIKO RHYTHM QUEST(ワダイコ リズム クエスト) 

A one-of-a-kind workshop is now available, allowing visitors to experience Wadaiko (Japanese drum) in the form of an attraction! Participants are given a mission to successfully perform taiko drumming on stage under the premise of being taiko drummers who have lost their memory. At the climax of the performance, the audience will be able to put on costumes and experience performing on the theater stage. The entire experience is recorded and edited, and the video will be presented to the participants.

You’ve finally achieved your dream of joining the esteemed taiko drumming ensemble ‘TEMPO DRUMS’ and today marks your eagerly awaited debut performance. What’s more, it will be live-streamed to the entire world! 

However… the moment you arrive at the theater, you suddenly realize that you’ve lost all memory related to ‘TEMPO DRUMS’                                                                                      You don’t remember how to play the drums, how to wear the costumes, or even the songs to be performed… Can you truly succeed in your debut performance?？

And so, the story begins to link with the real world…

・Time: Session 1: 13:30 – 14:30

■Cast Introduction

TRAinnovation（トライノベーション）

This performance unit comprises creators from various genres, not limited to traditional Japanese instruments, and advocates for the concept of “updating tradition.” In 2023, they won the first prize at “EMERGENZA”, a competition held in Germany to determine the world’s best indie bands, out of over 2000 entries. In addition to performing extensively at concert halls and live houses nationwide, recently they have been approaching a wide range of audiences by appearing at nightclubs where young people gather. Furthermore, they prioritize their activities abroad, organizing overseas performances and releasing numerous collaborative tracks with foreign artists. They will continue to pursue new possibilities for Japanese culture by harnessing their unparalleled originality in blending traditional Japanese instruments with computer music, and by showcasing polished performances that connect with the next generation.
